Page 59 of the manual that comes with my Spectran HF-6065 V4 contains a formula to calculate power density in W/m2 from values measured with the instrument in dBm. That formula includes the measurement antenna gain as a parameter.
But if you have the AntTyp configured correctly (e.g. HyperLog 7060), is it necessary to take that gain into account?
In other words, is the value displayed "weighted" using antenna gain in the frecuency where measure is done?

This are just sample calculations to understand how the conversion from dBm to power density works.
If you calibrate the unit (select a antenna in the menue) the SPECTRAN will do those calculations automaticaly.
