We have a GPS Logger from You. It has worked fine, but recently a problem has appeared. It shows the date totally wrong. The date is now September 25, 2001. The date of the GPS Logger is thus almost 20 years behind. The time seems to be wrong, too, at least for the hour part.

That is an issue of older GPS receiver chips and the way the timestamp is encoded in the GPS signal, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPS_week_number_rollover for details. Unfortunately the only way to fix this is to replace the device.

Is it possible to set the date and time on the GPS logger? If not, is it possible to get the time when connected to a computer via the USB cable?

The logger only gets its time from the GPS signal, it is not possible to override this if no signal can be received.
