To get the GPS Logger working on a Linux OS you have to create a rules file in the folder /etc/udev/rules.d/
Name it for example: 70-aaronia-gps-logger.rules
(Root privileges required)!
Insert the following line into the file: ACTION=="add", SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="0403", ATTR{idProduct}=="e8db", MODE="0666"
Save and close the file and reboot your system.
Now you can connect the GPS Logger device and control it via a serial terminal software like described in the GPS-Logger Programming Guide.
