I'm using the NF-5030 linked to a PC with USB cable. I run the LCS Analyzer software.
The instrument is near a crt monitor.
I set
Start = 50 KHz
Stop=150 KHz
Stime=500ms
RBW= 10KHz
Det=RMS
Magnetic Axis= X
The LCS screen shows a signal centered at 110KHz. Its value is 60 nTesla.

If I change the measure to 3D (instead of single X axis), the NF5030 seems not work. The sweep in LCS starts to 50 khz, then goes to about 55 KHz and do not go up. It returns to 50KHz and the cicle begin agains. If I change the sampletime to 200msec, it works again.

Does the 3D measure need a shorter sampletime?

No, there is no difference in the needed sampletime.

Why the 3D mode don't work with 500ms sampletime?
With the same parameters the X-axis mode works fine.

I have also seen that this problem happens regardless I use the NF5030 with LCS or stand alone.
With the configuration above stated (500ms sampletime) the 3D measure doesn't work, nor standalone nor with LCS.

The maximum possible sweeptime is connected to the RBW. The higher the RBW the lower the maximum possible sweeptime.
Probably we will expand this in one of the next firmware updates.
