If I am using an HF-60100 for measuring signals in the normal range of the machine but I have another signal which is significantly large but out of range (about 70kHz) would this affect the noise floor of my desired range that I am looking at (10MHz to 100MHz). Also, is the machine protected against overvoltage (about 2v peak) at out of range frequencies (70kHz)?

The original Point and Click Interface was a Smith and Wesson.

Yes and since the HF-60100 works far below 1MHz a 70kHz Signal would also distroy the input if its higher then the maximum specs.
