What does it mean RBW or VBW = FULL in spectrum parameters (MCS)?

Full is a "quick and dirty" 50MHz filter so you have to be quite careful with the results (see manual). It's not very accurate but, because the sweep is very fast, it is great to detect quickly "strong" signals over a wide frequency range.

Tank's for your responses;
i am trying to integrate the spectran 6065 into a monitoring station to measure the EM field , so i have created my own program using your programer's guide,
So, when i used RBW=FULL,with SPAN=1MHz i found a very good result between -50dBm and 0dBm, but i got -150dBm with the lower power (-80dBm to -60dBm!!!),
tryed to change RBW to a small value and icrease the sweeptime, but i can't measure any thing.

i am using a RF Generator!!!

It is because, as mentioned before, the "FULL" RBW can only detect strong signals (Nyquist).
